Make a Gift
We understand donors may be motivated to give for many reasons. A gift provides a positive incentive to a child to further their education and offers financial support to someone who otherwise could not afford a post-high school education.
Gifts to the EAHS Scholarship Foundation, Inc. help to ensure continued education for a deserving student. If you would like more information on how to make a gift to the EAHS Scholarship Foundation, Inc. or would like to make an appointment to discuss planned giving, please contact an Officer, Board Member, or Bill Trewyn, Treasurer, at 262-741-9143. |
Types of Gifts
Bequests
Through your Will, you may designate a portion of your estate to the EAHS Scholarship Foundation, Inc.
Trusts
Through a Living Trust, you may put property in trust and have income paid to you (or anyone else) and then, later, have the income or principal go to the EAHS Scholarship Foundation, Inc., at a time specified by you. You may also make a gift directly to the Foundation, reserving to yourself all or part of the income for your life.
Memorials and Tributes
Memorials give you the opportunity to preserve the memory of a special person. Gifts for the scholarship recipients can also honor a retiring club officer, celebrate a birthday, rejoice in the birth of a grandchild, or make any other occasion meaningful for you and your loved ones. A special certificate can be sent to the person honored or the family of the person memorialized, if so requested by the donor. Learn more about how to establish a scholarship >>

Your contribution can assume either one of two forms:
- A contribution made in the name of a firm or individual. The scholarship would be presented under that name.
- A contribution made in the name of a firm or individual would become part of the "Foundation Endowment Pool." Scholarships would be presented from the "pool" based upon the amount of money in the endowment.
Regardless of the amount, your gift is important. It will allow the Foundation to maintain the level of giving within our district. Your participation is the best form of support we can offer our graduates and alumni. What better way to attain this goal than by supporting the Elkhorn Area High School Scholarship Foundation!
